About Vigil Guard
Our Story
Vigil Guard was created in response to a fundamental shift introduced by artificial intelligence in modern business environments. As language models began influencing real operational decisions, traditional security approaches stopped covering a critical layer of risk, which is natural language interaction.
After two decades of building and selling cybersecurity solutions at companies such as CrowdStrike, Cisco and IBM, the founder of Vigil Guard recognized that traditional tools like EDR, DLP and WAF were designed for infrastructure and data, not for the dynamic runtime behavior of AI systems.
Vigil Guard was built as a dedicated AI Detection and Response platform. The system evaluates every prompt, every response and every agent action in real time, giving organizations visibility and control over how AI behaves in practice. The platform includes native support for European languages and enables fully isolated deployment.
Why We Exist
Control over AI doesn't start with the model. It starts with language, context, and intent.
AI increasingly operates through natural language, yet most security still treats it like traditional software. That gap is where prompts, context shifts, and language-based manipulation become real attack vectors. Vigil Guard is a Detection and Response layer for AI. We evaluate meaning, risk, and intent before an interaction reaches the model or the user. We don't slow innovation. We give organizations control over how AI behaves in practice.

Tomasz Bartel
CEO & Founder
20+ years of experience in IT and cybersecurity. Built and scaled sales organizations at CrowdStrike, Riverbed, Cisco and IBM. Co founder of technology startups focused on network security and monitoring.
In recent years he has focused on AI Security. At Sycope he worked on NDR and NPM solutions, and later at CrowdStrike he was responsible for promoting and selling AI driven security solutions to major enterprises across the CEE region.
He is currently building Vigil Guard, applying his background in cybersecurity, enterprise sales and AI system architecture to develop a Detection and Response layer for modern AI driven environments.
